17 апреля 2019 года в г. Курске прошли соревнования по кроссу в зачет спартакиады вузов Курской области. Студенты отстаивали честь своих ВУЗов даже не смотря на холодную погоду.Всего в соревнованиях приняли участие сборные четырех высших учебных заведений Курска (95 человек). У юношей дистанция составила 3 км, а у девушек 1 км.
Победителем по кроссу стала команда КГУ, второе место у ЮЗГУ, бронзу взял КГМУ.
В личном первенстве лучшими стали студенты-медики Олеся Ряднова и Роман Дынько.
