С 8 по 22 марта 2020 года будет проходить Чемпионат по сумо в Японии (басё). Место проведения: EDION Arena (Осака).
Японская ассоциация сумо - организация отвечающая за сумо в Японии. Каждый год проводится 6 главных турниров сумо (Басё) в Токио, Осака, Нагоя и Фукуока. Январский, майский и сентябрьский турниры проходят в Токио и считаются самыми популярными из всех.
Продолжительность турнира составляет 15 дней, за время которого борцы стремятся повысить свой рейтинг.
